New Work, New York
New Work, New York brought together four abstract painters from the eponymous American city in a group exhibition at 133 Copeland Rd. This catalogue includes full colour reproductions of all the works included in the show by Matteo Callegari, Wyatt Kahn, Erik Lindman and Anton Zolotov. Each artist is introduced by interviews conducted by the editor in New York in early 2011.
An introduction by Jason Marquis puts forward the case for abstraction, while an interview with the hugely influential artist Chris Martin provides insight into the practice of this American vanguard.
