Matteo Callegari, Wyatt Kahn, Erik Lindman and Anton Zolotov are at the head of an emerging generation of New York-based artists exploring, developing and renovating the conventions of abstract painting.
Art depends on exchange, challenge and tension for its vigour. The colloquy of one world with another changes the way we perceive both. As these works celebrate the juncture of viewer, object and artist, so this exhibition aims to contribute to the ongoing dialogue between Europe and America.
